Terms of Use

Haviko is a free, non-commercial portfolio project created and operated by Vitali Lavau, an individual developer based in Poland. It helps users plan home furnishing purchases, store estimated budgets, compare offers, and request AI-assisted guidance.

By creating an account, you agree to these Terms and confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create or use an account. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to accept these Terms.

• Haviko provides a private workspace for purchase items, preferences, images, saved offers, estimates, and planning progress.
• Ask AI provides non-web buying guidance based on the information in your workspace.
• Find offers uses web search and AI-assisted ranking to present source-linked drafts for your review.
• Haviko does not sell products, process payments, place orders, act as a retailer or marketplace, or represent any listed store.

Keep your authentication methods secure and notify the project owner if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you enter or upload.

• Do not upload content that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive, malicious, or infringes privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights.
• Only upload images and other materials you created or have permission to use.
• Do not enter passwords, payment-card information, government identifiers, exact addresses, health data, confidential information, or other sensitive data.
• Do not probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass authentication, ownership checks, rate limits, or security controls.

You retain rights to your content. You grant the limited permission necessary to store, process, display, back up, and transmit it solely to operate the requested Haviko features.

AI-generated or AI-ranked content can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. It is provided for planning and informational purposes, not as professional, legal, financial, safety, medical, or engineering advice.

• Do not include personal, confidential, or sensitive information in content used for AI requests.
• Check dimensions, specifications, price, currency, availability, delivery, returns, warranty, and product safety directly with the retailer or manufacturer.
• A result or saved offer is not an endorsement or a guarantee that a product is suitable for your home.
• Haviko changes descriptions, saves offers, or selects an offer only after an explicit user action.

This is an experimental project with no service-level commitment. Features may change, fail, become rate-limited, or be unavailable because of maintenance, free-tier quotas, provider changes, or project closure. Reasonable care will be taken, but uninterrupted availability is not promised.

If a material change affects how the service works or how data is handled, the Terms or Privacy Policy will be updated and the new version will be identified on the relevant page.

You may stop using Haviko at any time. Settings includes an account deletion control that removes the Haviko database record, owned item images, and Clerk account. External provider logs and backups may follow their limited retention schedules as described in the Privacy Policy.

Access may be suspended or removed to protect users or the service, respond to unlawful use, enforce these Terms, or close the project. Where practical, advance notice will be given before a general project shutdown.

Haviko is provided free of charge on an experimental “as-is” and “as-available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, the project owner is not responsible for purchasing decisions, third-party stores or websites, changing prices, lost opportunities, or indirect losses caused by relying on AI or source information.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or responsibility that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.

Describe the issue, relevant account email, and requested resolution in an email to vitali.lavau@gmail.com. Do not send passwords or sensitive information. The project owner will aim to respond within 14 days.

These Terms are governed by Polish law, without depriving a user of mandatory protections that apply under other applicable law. Disputes should first be addressed through good-faith direct contact.
